Darling style

If you haven’t been up the West Coast lately, you should, you really should. Go to Darling , home of SA’s most famous white woman, Evita Bezuidenhout, and head straight for Darling Cellars, darling,  for a wine tasting of note.

Comfy inside

This dynamic co op with 23 members makes great wine at very reasonable prices. Not only that but the range is ever expanding and even has a really good Cap Classique to boast about. The range is extensive with something for every palate and pocket. The wine tastings are 8 wines for R55 which is waived on purchase, which is really easy to do. The staff is well   trained and know what they are doing, friendly in the country manner. You can also order something to eat –a platter or two, maybe some sausages, cheese, olives and so on—get the picture? Sit inside or out as suits you and there is a play area for the kids so you can keep an eye on them. The wines have deservedly won many medals and you will definitely find many you like—they are more than worth tasting—again and again. So fire up the jalopy and head North on the West Coast Road

The aromas are irresistible
