The gardens were originally established 322 years ago and have, through various owners, remained one of the treasures of the Western Cape.

The ancient camphor trees are a marvel, and the Rose Garden is superb. After you have done wandering through paradise on earth there are various options to eat at, wines to be tasted and—a recent addition—fabulous honey from their very own apiary.
