Groot Constantia is no stranger to the international stage, with the fabulous wines of Boela Gerber always getting the recognition they deserve with his 2009 Chardonnay winning the best white in show at La Revue de Vin de France and many others. The 2016 vintage continues to show how great it was with the Governors Reserve Red 2016 and the Shiraz 2016 sweeping the Gold boards at the Monde Selection International Wine Contest in a field that featured the top wines of 28 countries, a no mean feat at this internationally renowned competition.
