As the world geared up to celebrate World Wildlife Day on March 3, Sugarbird® Cape Fynbos Spirits reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to wildlife conservation with the launch of a special initiative in the month of March.

In recognition of World Wildlife Day, Sugarbird® Cape Fynbos Spirits has announced that throughout March a percentage of the proceeds from every bottle sold of Sugarbird Safari Glitter Gin will be donated to the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve (TPNR) towards its community foundation and incredible anti-poaching unit.

Anti-poaching unit

Initially a limited-edition festive gin, launched in December 2022, this sparkly addition to the Sugarbird® gin range, in a Safari-themed bottle remains the perfect gifting solution from Africa to the world at large. However, with its Safari-scape bottle design, it speaks to the vital conservation effort, embodying the beauty and significance of Africa’s wildlife and landscapes.

Timbavati Foundation

The TPNR is at the forefront of wildlife conservation in South Africa. Employing dedicated men and women who put their lives on the line to protect and educate about our natural heritage. Through their tireless efforts in community engagement, boots on the ground and investment in state-of-the-art equipment, the TPNR has created a safeguard against rhino poaching and wildlife crime, ensuring that future generations will continue to marvel at the wonders of the African wilderness.
