This delicious Chardonnay was voted Best Chardonnay in SA at this year’s Investec Trophy Wine Show and it’s not difficult to see why when tasting. I found it bold and assertive, no shrinking violet, a perfect foil for sea food, especially salmon lightly seared with some nice crisp chips.
Fermentation took place in 225L and 300L barrels, with the wines maturing on their lees for a total of 10 months.

wood spice, and grapefruit, supported by a soft acidity.
