You are going to love this easy, quick, totally delicious take on pasta at its best. We went gluten free but do as suits you. Do try and get fresh tuna which makes a big difference but otherwise go for tinned and use your experience and tailor the recipe. Obviously get chunks if using tinned. Have fun! Didn’t photograph well, but the end product was so fabulous I just HAD to share it.

 

FRESH TUNA PASTA

 

INGREDIENTS

Fresh tuna sliced not too thinly about 300 gms

MARINADE

Soya Sauce 75 mls

Honey 2 tbsp

Lemon juice 1 tsp

Olive oil 1 tbsp

TOPPING

Stuffed olives ½ cup chopped

BASE

Hot Cooked Pasta

 

METHOD

Combine marinade ingredients and place tuna into it.

Marinate about 30 minutes.

Heat pan with some olive oil about 2tbsp till hot but not smoking.

Remove tuna from marinade and scorch in the pan about 5 minutes.

Add marinate to pan and continue cooking until well cooked.

Remove tuna from pan and cut into chunks.

Add tuna to hot cooked pasta with cooking juices
