Guests are welcome to enjoy a glass of wine and some light refreshments in the estate gardens between 17:00 and 18:00. Concerts are presented from La Motte’s renovated Parshuis or Historic Red Wine Cellar and start promptly at 18:00. Please note that seating is not reserved.
L’Ami Family Bistro
Make the most of your visit to the Franschhoek Valley and stay for dinner at the estate’s L’Ami Family Brasserie, a short stroll away from the concert venue. A special concert and dinner package is available at R945 and entails a concert ticket as well as a three-course menu with a glass of wine from the La Motte Classic Collection. (Other drinks and gratuity excluded). Bookings can be made via Dineplan.

A lively programme to echo the new life and energy of Spring in the Franschhoek Valley. Entitled Spring Awakening, this programme features short pieces by Popper, Piazzolla, Pärt, Casado and Saint-Saëns, sonatas by Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms and Rachmaninov and a Bach solo.

In the spirit of Christmas, this voice-and-piano concert traces the story of Christmas through a selection of art songs, from the anticipation of Christmas to the wonder of the Nativity and the joyful proclamation of Christ’s birth. Featuring the timeless works of composers such as Strauss, Sibelius, Saint-Saëns, Massenet and Fauré, the programme invites audience members to marvel at the magic of Christmas and experience the spirit of the festive season – one of hope, peace and light.
